Ain Razat is a year-round spring at the foot of the mountains east of Salalah. Clear water runs in a stone channel between the rocks, a green garden of trees and lawns surrounds it, and rocky cliffs above hold a small cave over the spring. The spring is one of the most abundant in Oman and flows all year. Dhofar Municipality has landscaped the site as a garden with shade trees, making it a favourite with families, students and photographers. Stone steps lead up from the garden to a small cave overlooking the spring. You walk the garden beside the water, sit in the shade and climb the steps to the cave to see the site from above. It turns especially green in the khareef season, from late June to September. The spring is about 20 km in a straight line northeast of Salalah, and you can combine it with Wadi Darbat and Taqah on a tour east of Salalah. The steps are uneven, so walk carefully.
