A night market and open-air shopping complex on the bank of the Chao Phraya River, opened in 2012 on the site of the old East Asiatic Company docks, keeping its historic warehouses after restoration. It is one of Bangkok's favourite evening outings for families. It has more than twelve hundred shops in old warehouses and open walkways selling clothes, crafts and souvenirs, many riverside restaurants, and a big illuminated Ferris wheel overlooking the city and river. Evening shows are sometimes staged here. Entry is free; it opens from late afternoon until near midnight, at its liveliest after sunset. The Ferris wheel is paid separately. The nicest way there is the free shuttle boat from Sathorn pier near Saphan Taksin Skytrain station, arriving across the river among the evening lights. Halal restaurants are easy to find in the complex.

The nicest way is the free boat from Sathorn pier near Saphan Taksin station, running from late afternoon. By car the road is congested in the evening.
