Quiet beach.
Barra da Sucatinga is a coastal district and beach in Beberibe on the east coast of Ceará, about ninety-seven kilometres from Fortaleza, south of the well-known Morro Branco and Fontes beaches. Thanks to scenery often described as paradise, well-known TV productions have been filmed here, including the telenovela «Tropicaliente» in 1994 and the first season of the adventure show «No Limite» in 2000, both made by Brazil's Globo network. The Beberibe coast is known for its coloured cliffs, dunes, wide sands and warm water, and Barra da Sucatinga is quieter than the beaches closer to Fortaleza, suiting those looking for seclusion and long walks on the sand. Combine it with the Morro Branco cliffs on a trip along the east coast.
