A glacial lake at the northeastern foot of Mount Prenj, in the municipality of Konjic, at 397 metres above sea level. Its basin was carved by glacial erosion; steep forested slopes of Crna Gora (1,343 metres) rise to the west and the Tranjine hills to the east. It is elliptical, 786 metres long and up to 402 metres wide, covering about 0.26 square kilometres, and about 17 metres deep at its deepest. Its water is clear and green, warming to about 25 °C in August and dropping to 0 °C in February. It is a favourite summer spot for people from the region, with meadows and shady trees on its shores, wooden swimming platforms, picnic tables, cafés, cabins and campsites, and hiking trails into the Prenj mountains start here. The site is open and usually free, reached by car from Konjic on a narrow mountain road. June to September is best for swimming, while spring and autumn suit walks and quiet.
