Bou Sra is one of Cambodia's best-known waterfalls, lying in the hilly province of Mondulkiri in the east, among forests and green hills. It draws visitors with its three-tiered drop between dark rocks. It has become the centre of an eco park and is the usual stop for anyone coming to Sen Monorom for air cooler than the plains. The falls drop in three steps, and sources differ on the figures, some giving 15 m in the dry season and 22 to 25 m in the wet. It could once be viewed only from ground level, but platforms now let you see it from higher up. It lies within Bousra Eco Park, about 15 km from the Vietnamese border. White water falls over dark rock, with spray rising around a pool at the base and green forest on all sides. In the rainy season it grows wider and stronger, while in the dry season it narrows and it is easier to walk on the rocks nearby. It can be busy on holidays. It is about 28 km in a straight line from Sen Monorom, and most sources give about 43 km by road, so travel by motorbike or car. Watch for slippery rocks, keep away from the upper edge and do not swim beneath the strong flow in the rains. The end of the rainy season is the best time, when greenery remains and the road is easier.

By motorbike or car from Sen Monorom, on a paved road one source says takes about half an hour.
Only with care when the water is low, and avoid it in the rainy season.
