The Cachoeira do Abade drops 22 metres into a wide pool near Pirenópolis, reached by two trails: the Abade trail, about 500 metres on boardwalks that suit everyone including people with limited mobility, and the Vale trail, about 2.5 km with suspension bridges and a viewpoint 80 metres up. The site has lifeguards and a restaurant. It opens daily 9:00-16:00; the Vale trail must be started by 14:00 and the Abade trail by 15:00. Entry is capped each day, so buy ahead: about R$70 on weekdays and R$80 at weekends, half price for children aged 6 to 12 and over-60s, free up to age 5. The last stretch of road is dirt.
