Cachoeira do Segredo, «Secret Falls», near São Jorge in Alto Paraíso de Goiás, drops about 100 metres (some sources say 130) down a rock wall draped in green. The trail is of medium difficulty, about 7 km there and back along the river inside the forest, crossing the river and passing through Brazilian cerrado scenery, with two main pools for swimming on the way; it takes about two and a half to three hours. Entry is about R$70 per person (September 2025), parking included. Entry is allowed between 8:00 and 13:00 and you must be out by 17:00, so start early.
