A tea house on the main road climbing into the Cameron Highlands, looking straight onto a wide slope of terraced tea, the first view of the tea estates that greets many visitors arriving from Kuala Lumpur. Its easy access makes it the most convenient tea stop in the highlands. From the terrace you see the rows of bushes falling away into the valley, and you can walk down among them on a path for a small fee of around RM 4, with under-twelves free. If you would rather not walk, a small electric buggy takes you to the bottom of the estate and back for around RM 15 per adult. The tea house serves teas, cakes and light meals, with a shop of tea products. It opens daily roughly from half past eight to six, and until seven at weekends. Because it is on the main road it gets crowded at weekends, and roadside parking needs care. The best time is the morning, when light mist lies over the valley, and an hour is enough.

If time is short or you want an easy roadside stop, yes. BOH has the finer view and richer experience, though, so visit both if you can.
