A rocky headland in southeast Cyprus between Ayia Napa and Protaras, protected as a national forest park and known for its limestone cliffs and clear turquoise water. Along the shore are sea caves carved by the waves, known as the «Palaces», a natural rock bridge called Kamara tou Koraka, the clear waters of the Blue Lagoon, and a small chapel above a cave looking out to sea. Easy marked walking and cycling trails cross the park, part of them on the long-distance European E4 route, linking the caves and viewpoints, and there is no entry fee. The area is exposed with little shade, so come in the morning or before sunset with plenty of water. The cliffs are high and there are no lifeguards, so keep back from the edges and don't jump in. You can drive there or join a boat trip from Ayia Napa.
