A large family leisure park on the slopes of Mount Burangrang north-west of Bandung, among vegetable fields and forest, styled as a Sundanese village with bamboo architecture. It is among the loveliest family outings around Bandung, with green spaces, a lake and flower gardens. Its best-known feature is the Lutung Kasarung restaurant, bamboo huts shaped like birds' nests suspended among the trees, where visitors eat Sundanese food overlooking the lake. There are also colourful flower gardens, boats on the lake, play areas and a market of local farm produce. Entry is mid-priced and usually includes a food voucher; the hanging restaurant needs advance booking on holidays. The air is pleasantly cool. Allow half a day, come on a weekday morning and book the nest restaurant ahead. It is ideal for families with children.
