An aquarium on Jeddah's corniche showing life from the Red Sea and the oceans in large tanks. Its best-known feature is a glass tunnel where visitors walk while fish and sharks swim above and around them. The galleries range from colourful coral-reef tanks and blue-lit jellyfish to a large tank of sharks and big fish, plus a chilled penguin enclosure. There is also a dolphin and sea lion show in a covered arena, usually in the evening, sold separately from the aquarium tour or as a combined ticket. Aquarium tickets start at about 64 SAR for adults and the dolphin show at about 80 SAR, per visitor guides, with tickets sold on the official website. Opening and show times vary by day, so check before you go.
