A panoramic gondola linking the centre of Zlatibor town with Tornik, the highest peak of Mount Zlatibor. At 8.95 kilometres it is the longest panoramic gondola lift in the world, with a halfway stop at Ribnica Lake. It began running on 14 January 2021, with 55 cabins of ten seats each carrying about 600 passengers an hour, gliding over forests, meadows and the lake on a ride of roughly a quarter to half an hour each way. At Tornik there is a ski resort in winter and walking trails and viewpoints in summer, looking over the green Zlatibor plateau and the mountains beyond, while the forests below turn glorious colours in autumn. Every ticket is a return, at RSD 2,000 for adults and RSD 1,000 for children, with rides from 9:00, per the gondola's official site. Check the weather before you go, as strong winds can stop the lift.
