A 150-metre footbridge looping along the mountainside at about 1,400 metres in the Ba Na Hills resort, apparently held up by two giant stone hands rising from the forest. The hands are actually fibreglass and wire mesh over a steel frame, sculpted to look weathered and mossy. The bridge opened in June 2018 and within weeks was one of the most photographed sights in Vietnam. It was designed by the Ho Chi Minh City firm TA Landscape Architecture to link the cable car station with the hilltop gardens, and its gold-coloured railing traces a curve that has walkers looking straight out over the valley and, on clear days, towards the coast. The bridge can only be reached through Ba Na Hills, so it needs the resort's cable car ticket (the resort has its own page). It is most crowded from late morning, and the mountain is often in cloud: take one of the first cable cars after opening for the clearest light and the fewest people, and bring a light jacket, since it is several degrees cooler than the coast.

To the coast on clear days.
Up over the forest to the top.

No. The bridge is inside the Ba Na Hills resort and can only be reached with the cable car ticket, 1,000,000 dong for adults from outside Da Nang.
On the first cable cars of the morning, before the crowds arrive and before the clouds usually close in.
