The official ladder roughly: Cliff Walk for all on foot; Flyer and Glider from 10 years and 35 kg (younger fly accompanied under conditions); Carts from 135 cm; Trotti from 125 with real brake control. Below all: lake, meadows and mountain playground are full joy anyway.
Two natures: the Joch is snow-and-glacier awe to behold โ First is a mountain to do with hands, legs and screams. Teenagers and one budget: First usually wins โ common wisdom gives them a day each.
The golden order: first gondolas up, Bachalpsee immediately for morning stillness, back at the station by noon for the booked adrenaline chain โ Flyer, Glider, Cart to Schreckfeld, Trotti to village: a complete descent needing no return lift. Reverse it on peak days if the bundle was secured early.

'Top of Adventure' โ Grindelwald's mountain that Switzerland turned into a complete family adrenaline ground: gondolas climb from the village to 2,168 metres facing the mighty Eiger north wall, and above, daring runs in degrees each person chooses. The famous Cliff Walk first โ a cliff-hung gallery with its jutting platform, free with the ascent โ then the First Flyer: an 800-metre cable glide at 80 km/h; the winged First Glider; Trottibike scooters descending to the village; and the Mountain Carts โ a chain ticketed singly or bundled as the adventure package. And for the view-only comer: the classic Bachalpsee walk (50 minutes out) where the trio mirrors in mountain water โ among Switzerland's most famous easy strolls outright.
