A three-rope cable car crossing the sea from An Thoi at the southern tip of Phu Quoc to Hon Thom island, 7,899.9 metres long and recognised by Guinness World Records as the longest of its kind in the world. Opened in February 2018, it passes over turquoise water and the fishing boats of the An Thoi islands, above Hon Dua and Hon Roi, in about 15 minutes each way, and each cabin holds 30 passengers. The ride is the highlight, especially in the morning light, with the An Thoi archipelago spread out below. On Hon Thom the ticket includes the Aquatopia water park, with slides, a lazy river and a wave pool, and the island has beaches and restaurants. The cable car is run by Sun World Hon Thom. Plan half a day or more, and check the operating schedule before you go, as it can change with the season and the weather.
