Hot Park is a water park in Rio Quente, near Caldas Novas, whose water is not heated: it rises naturally at 37.5 °C. It opened on 13 July 1997 as part of the Rio Quente Resorts complex, in a region known for its abundant hot springs. Its best-known features are the Praia do Cerrado, an artificial beach with a six-million-litre wave pool billed as the largest swimming pool in Brazil, and the Xpirado, a 35-metre slide billed as the world's biggest hot-water slide, plus lazy rivers for floating on rings and more slides. It runs most days from 9:00 to 17:00 and closes for maintenance on Thursdays, except in January, July and on holidays. Prices change by date and occupancy, about R$206 for an adult on one September 2026 date, free for children up to 4, and cheaper from March to June and August to November. You do not need to stay at the resort to enter.
