The Hronsek wooden articular church is a Lutheran church in the village of Hronsek in central Slovakia, about 10 km south of Banská Bystrica in a straight line. It is one of the «Wooden Churches of the Slovak part of the Carpathian Mountain Area», a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 7 July 2008. Building began on 23 October 1725 and finished in autumn 1726. It is one of the «articular» churches built under articles adopted at the Diet of Sopron in 1681, which allowed Protestant churches on strict conditions, including being built outside town walls. The church is cross-shaped, its long arm 23 metres and short arm 18 metres, and it stands 8 metres high. The dark timber building rises in tiered roofs of small wooden shingles, wrapped with small windows and wooden galleries, shaded by ancient lime trees in a quiet green garden, with a separate wooden bell tower beside it. Visitors admire the church from outside and walk around it in the garden, and may go inside during visiting hours, respecting services. It makes a short stop near Banská Bystrica.
