An entertainment city in Shah Alam known as the City of Digital Lights, because after sunset its plazas become a garden of trees and shapes lit by more than a million coloured bulbs, where visitors wander and take photographs. Walking among the light displays is free, while each ride and attraction has its own ticket, including a water park that closes at six in the evening, a snow hall kept below freezing, a tall observation wheel and children's rides. A non-Malaysian adult ticket costs about fifty ringgit for the water park and about seventy-five for the snow hall. It opens from eleven in the morning on weekdays and from ten at weekends, until around midnight. Next to it is a large mall with many restaurants. The best time to come is after sunset for the lights; you will need a car or ride-hailing app from Kuala Lumpur, half an hour to an hour depending on traffic. Pair it with the Blue Mosque in Shah Alam by day.
