An aquarium and indoor zoo in the Neo Soho shopping complex in West Jakarta, created jointly by Indonesia's Taman Safari and Malaysia's Aquaria KLCC. It holds hundreds of animals, from Indonesia's sea and river fish to mammals, reptiles and insects from Indonesia, Africa and South America. Visitors move between huge tanks and glass tunnels with fish, sharks and rays swimming overhead, rainforest sections with small animals, daily feeding sessions and underwater theatre shows. It is fully air-conditioned, good for hot and rainy days. Prices vary by day: about one hundred and thirty-five thousand rupiah per adult on weekdays and more at weekends, less for children, with frequent online offers. Two to three hours is enough; come on a weekday to avoid crowds. The mall has plenty of restaurants, so it makes an easy family outing away from the street heat.
