A nature-themed entertainment and retail complex linked to Terminals 1, 2 and 3 of Changi Airport, opened in 2019 under a huge ring-shaped glass dome and spanning ten storeys, five above ground and five below. Its centrepiece is the Rain Vortex, the world's tallest indoor waterfall at 40 m, pouring from an opening in the dome's roof to the basement, ringed by an indoor forest terraced over five storeys. Every evening a free light and music show plays on the waterfall, and the top floor holds the Canopy Park with mazes, suspended bridges and nets for walking above the trees, alongside some 300 shops and restaurants. Walking around, the waterfall and the evening show are free, and you can visit even without flying. The light show runs in the evening between 8 and 10 pm, and Jewel is ideal for a long layover.
