A living museum of Jingdezhen porcelain-making, built around the «Zhen kiln», a rare, well-preserved Qing-era kiln and national protected monument, surrounded by workshops where craftsmen work in front of visitors in the traditional way, from kneading clay and throwing pots on the wheel to blue-and-white painting, glazing and firing. The area also holds two groups of old houses moved here from around Jingdezhen, known as the Ming Garden and the Qing Garden, with their courtyards and timber halls among lakes and trees, and it is rated 5A, China's top grade. Tickets cost CNY 95, or 50 concession, and the area is open from 8 am to 5 pm, per visitor guides.
