A chain of stepped waterfalls running four kilometres through a green valley north-east of Luoping, called «Big Stacked Water» by the local Buyei people; the largest, the Shenlong or «Divine Dragon» falls, is 56 metres high and 112 metres wide, the widest and largest waterfall in Yunnan, with turquoise pools between the falls where bamboo rafts drift. Luoping, where Yunnan, Guizhou and Guangxi meet, is famous for the rapeseed fields that turn its plains yellow from late February to mid-March among cone-shaped hills, called in China «the world's largest natural garden»; the finest view is at the Jinji peak cluster, where green peaks rise from a sea of flowers. The falls cost CNY 65, bamboo rafts about 20 to 25 and the cable car about 30 one way; the rapeseed fields are free, and the Jinji peaks about 30, per visitor guides.
