An open-air outlet mall with around a hundred and fifty stores selling international and local brands at reduced prices all year, opened in 2011 north-west of Johor Bahru as only the second centre of its kind in Malaysia. It draws shoppers from across Malaysia and neighbouring Singapore, and millions of visitors a year. The stores line open-air walkways, with fashion, shoes, bags and sportswear alongside restaurants and cafés. Discounts vary from one store to another, so compare before you buy, and don't assume every price beats the ordinary shops. It opens daily from ten in the morning to ten at night, and entry is free. The walkways are open to the sky and the midday heat is fierce, so come in the morning or late afternoon, and avoid weekends and public holidays if you can, when the car parks fill. It sits at the junction of the North–South Expressway and the Second Link Expressway near Senai Airport, about half an hour's drive from central Johor Bahru. With children, combine it with LEGOLAND Malaysia in Iskandar Puteri on the same trip.
