Very much so — the same model: a historic industrial building converted into a classic car complex with workshops, dealers, glazed bays and free entry. Motorworld is larger and better known; Klassikstadt is smaller and quieter. If you have seen one, the other will not add much — choose whichever is nearer your route.

Klassikstadt is a classic car complex inside a 1912 brick factory in the Fechenheim district east of Frankfurt. The building itself is a listed industrial monument: a former engine works with brick facades, internal iron columns and high ceilings. The content is a mixture: specialist restoration workshops genuinely at work, glazed storage bays where owners keep their rare cars, classic car dealers, a restaurant and event spaces. Visitors walk among all of it free of charge and look through the glass at private collections not usually shown. This is not a museum: there is no narrative, no interpretation and no fixed collection, and what you see depends on what is in the workshops and bays that day. The value lies in the building and in seeing genuine restoration work under way. Entry is free, which makes the only cost the twenty-minute trip east.
