**The island's longest beach, and its most contradictory place** — because it holds two things that do not fit together: **loud nightlife** and **the most important turtle nesting beaches in the Mediterranean**. The beach itself is **nine kilometres of sand** with very shallow water that stays knee-deep a long way out — which is what suits both the turtles and small children.
