The «roof of Da Lat»: a pair of peaks about 12 km north of the city, rising to 2,167 and 2,124 metres, with the lower Radar Hill, at 1,929 metres, serving as the main viewpoint. The name comes from a K'Ho legend of two lovers, K'Lang and H'Biang, whose families forbade their marriage. From the tourist area at the foot, green jeeps carry visitors up a steep road to Radar Hill, where the city, the pine forests and Dankia Lake spread out below. Energetic visitors can walk up instead, or trek to the true summit on a longer trail with a guide. In the evenings, cultural shows by the local K'Ho community, with gongs and dancing, are put on for groups. The mountain often clouds over in the afternoon, so go in the morning for the clearest views and bring warm clothes.
