A family park in the cool hill town of Lembang north of Bandung, around a lake where small wooden boats float and vendors sell traditional Sundanese food and snacks from them, so visitors buy from the jetty while the boat bobs on the water. It is one of the favourite places for families from the Gulf visiting Bandung. Around the lake are neat gardens and plenty for children: a rabbit and small-animal village, swan boats, a play area, flower gardens, a Japanese-themed section and many photo spots. Lembang is pleasantly cool all year round. Entry is about forty thousand rupiah, usually including a drink voucher, with rides and activities priced separately; purchases from the boats are paid in the market's own tokens, bought at the entrance. Come on a weekday morning, as weekends are very crowded and the road to Lembang jams with cars. Pair it with Tangkuban Perahu volcano and the Lembang farms in one day.

Most Sundanese food here is halal, as the area is mostly Muslim, but ask if unsure. Purchases are in market tokens, so buy only as many as you need.
