Les Bons is a historic village in Encamp parish, Andorra, at 1,336 metres, home to about 1,170 people. It holds the Romanesque church of Sant Romà and the Torre dels Moros, and lies about 1.9 km in a straight line from Lake Engolasters. Sant Romà was built in the mid-12th century and consecrated on 23 January 1164, set on a rock above the village's historic core, so its apse faces slightly north to fit the steep ground. The church and the Torre dels Moros have been submitted for World Heritage status. A village renovation begun in 2024, covering paving, utilities and historic sites, is expected to finish in 2026. Stone houses with slate roofs step down a green slope, crowned on the rock by the small single-nave church with its semicircular apse and the weathered square stone tower beside it. From the top of the village the view opens over the Encamp valley and forested mountains. The area is prone to rockfalls, so keep to marked paths. Parts may be under renovation, so check locally before you visit.
