A karst area near Huangguoshu Waterfall whose name means «Dragon Palace», famous for water caves that can only be entered by boat; the first runs for more than 800 metres, and the ride through it among limestone formations over clear, still water takes about half an hour. The area also has the Dragon Gate waterfall, which drops more than 50 metres across a width of 26 metres, green lakes ringed by hills and woods, and paths linking the caves and lakes. The combined ticket costs about CNY 150, covering entry, the boat and the area bus, or 170 with the panoramic lift, booked at least a day ahead; the area is open from 8.30 am to 5 pm, per visitor guides. It pairs well with Huangguoshu Waterfall on one trip from Guiyang or Anshun.
