An evening leisure park on the bank of the Mahakam River, filled with hundreds of colourful lanterns and illuminated figures shaped as animals, flowers, characters and landmarks, turning each night into a world of colour that draws families and children. Visitors wander among the lit figures taking photos, with simple rides for children and food and drink stalls, overlooking the river and the nearby lit Baitul Muttaqien Mosque, so both sights fit one evening. Tickets are modest; the garden opens only in the evening and is busy at weekends. Come after Maghrib prayer at Baitul Muttaqien, which is close by. It is a pleasant evening out for children, and an hour is enough.
