The Mineirão, officially the Governador Magalhães Pinto Stadium, is Belo Horizonte's giant football ground and home of Cruzeiro, seating 66,658. It hosted matches of the 2013 Confederations Cup, the 2014 World Cup and the 2016 Olympic football tournament. Inside, the Museu Brasileiro do Futebol tells the story of Belo Horizonte, the stadium and Brazilian football across 14 rooms, and guided tours take visitors behind the scenes to places the players use, in about an hour to an hour and a half. Museum tickets cost R$50 (half price R$25 for under-21s, students, teachers and seniors); it opens Thursday to Saturday 10:00-17:00 and Sunday 10:00-16:00, closed Monday to Wednesday, with changes on match days.
