A seafront park and promenade in central Limassol, running about 1.2 km between the Old Port and the Akti Olympion shore, per visitor guides, and the locals' favourite place to stroll, jog and cycle. It has palm trees, lawns, walking and cycle paths, wooden piers reaching into the water, playgrounds, fountains, cafés and outdoor gym equipment. Along it runs a sculpture park with works by Cypriot, Greek and international artists, made during the sculpture symposia the municipality held between 1999 and 2001. It is free and open all day, loveliest at sunset with the evening breeze. The Old Port and Limassol Marina with their restaurants are at one end, and Limassol Castle is steps away.
