A 333-metre hill west of Nagasaki whose summit overlooks the city, the harbour and the surrounding mountains. In 2021 Nagasaki's night view was named one of the «World's New Three Great Night Views», and locally it is the «ten-million-dollar night view». On the summit stands the multi-level Mt. Inasa Overlook, whose rooftop gives a full panorama, with a restaurant on the lower floor. From the ropeway station you reach it along a walkway lit in blue at night. Visitors ride the Nagasaki Ropeway from its base station near Fuchi Shrine, take a slope car from a nearby hotel, or go by bus or car. Inasayama Park on the slopes has spring azaleas and an open-air stage. The ropeway costs about 1,900 yen return since April 2026, per visitor guides, and the viewing deck itself is free. Just after sunset is the best time, and it is windy at the top in winter.
