«Dragon Tiger Mountain», near Yingtan in Jiangxi, is a landscape of red Danxia rock along the Luxi River, inscribed by UNESCO in 2010 as one of the six sites of «China Danxia». It is counted among the birthplaces of Taoism, home to the mansion of the Zhengyi school's masters and to old temples. Its strangest sight is the burials of the ancient Guyue people, who placed their dead in coffins inside caves high on the cliffs above the river, still visible from the boats; four free shows a day recreate how the coffins may have been lifted into the caves. A bamboo raft trip on the Luxi River between the red rocks is one of the finest ways to see the mountain. Tickets cost CNY 90, 135 with the park bus, or 230 with the bamboo raft, valid for two days; it is open from 8 am to 5.30 pm from April to October, with last entry at 4.30 pm, per visitor guides.
