A history museum devoted to Yugoslavia and to the life of its president Josip Broz Tito, in the leafy Dedinje district south of central Belgrade. With about 120,000 visitors a year, it is the most visited museum in Serbia. It is made up of three buildings in a large park: the 25 May Museum, opened in 1962 as a gift to Tito for his 70th birthday, the Old Museum, and the House of Flowers, where Tito and his wife Jovanka are buried. The collections show gifts Tito received from world leaders, the Relay of Youth batons carried across the country to celebrate his birthday, and documents and photographs telling the story of the Yugoslav state from its creation to its break-up. Tickets are RSD 800 and cover all three buildings; it is open Tuesday to Sunday 10:00–18:00 and closed on Mondays, per the museum's official site. It also closes on 1 and 7 January and at Orthodox Easter.
