A cluster of small waterfalls pouring from rocks and dense forest into round pools of clear turquoise, whose Spanish name means «eyes of Caburgua», as the water emerges here from the ground after filtering under volcanic rock from nearby Lake Caburgua. Wooden walkways and platforms overlook the pools among temperate rainforest of mosses, ferns and mountain bamboo, giving views of the falls from several angles: slim white columns dropping into transparent blue water that shows the stones on the bottom. The site is small and quiet, an hour is enough, so it is usually combined with Lake Caburgua and its beaches or nearby Huerquehue National Park. Local owners run it with a small entry fee. Swimming is not allowed in the pools, and walkways can be slippery after rain. Mornings are calmer than midday in summer.
