Praia do Morro is a district of Guarapari, south of Vitória, known for its beach of the same name, about three kilometres long, with kiosks spaced along a seafront fully rebuilt in early 2012. Many tourists come, especially from Minas Gerais, in the town's summer season, and the nightlife is lively in summer and at Carnival. The sand is fine and light, and because the beach is long the surf varies along it: at the start the waves are strong, good for surfing and water sports, while from the middle to the end the water calms and suits children. Its photo spots include the «Blue Marlin» statue and the «Praça da Paz», close to each other. The beach adjoins Praia da Cerca in the same district, which has shops, arcades, an amusement park and snack bars. It suits a family day by the sea; pick the calm end for swimming with children.
