A modern waterfront in the new city of Iskandar Puteri west of Johor Bahru, wrapped around a marina of yachts and boats facing the Johor Strait and ringed by apartment towers, hotels, cafés and restaurants. Its best feature is a long walkway by the water between moored yachts and palm trees, with wide green lawns, where locals walk and cycle in the evening, and it sometimes hosts festivals and weekend markets. It also has an international ferry terminal. It is quiet on weekdays and livelier in the evening and at weekends, and entry is free. It suits an evening stroll after a day at nearby Legoland Malaysia. It is about half an hour by car from central Johor Bahru and about a quarter of an hour from Legoland, so you will need a car or ride-hailing app.

It is a calm spot for a walk and dinner by the water, worthwhile if you are staying near Legoland or in Iskandar Puteri, but not a sight worth a special trip from afar.
