A top-rated Chinese scenic area on the Qingjiang River, a tributary of the Yangtze, in Changyang County west of Yichang, where the river widens between steep green mountains; its course here is nicknamed the «gallery» for the beauty of its views. Tour boats run between cliffs and forests on clear green water, past lone peaks, caves and islets, and from them visitors climb Wuluo Zhongli Mountain, tied to the legends of the ancient Ba people, and to cliffside lookouts over the river. The A-line ticket with the boat costs CNY 140 and the B line with the boat 95; A-line boats leave at 10 am, 11 am and 1 pm, and the area is open from 8 am to 5 pm, per visitor guides.
