Raudonė Castle is a 19th-century residential castle in the village of Raudonė in western Lithuania, on the bank of the Nemunas, about 54 km west of Kaunas in a straight line. It was once a public school and is now more like an art gallery and museum. An old Teutonic castle stood on the site until the 16th century. At the end of that century a Prussian merchant built a Renaissance manor house here with a 34-metre cylindrical tower. Later owners renovated it several times, and today the whole complex is an example of 19th-century Neo-Gothic architecture. The white castle, with battlemented towers and walls and its tall round tower, stands on a green slope above the Nemunas, surrounded by a large park with old trees. From the top of the tower a view opens over the river and plains. Visitors stroll the park around the castle and climb the tower for views of the Nemunas. Panemunė Castle is just a few kilometres away, so many combine the two on the Nemunas castle route.
