Huge crocodiles

One of the largest crocodile farms in Malaysia, with around three thousand crocodiles of every size, from hatchlings in shallow tanks to huge crocodiles more than four metres long. Some of its residents were moved here from the wild after becoming a danger to people, according to the signs in front of their pens. You walk among fenced pens and ponds where crocodiles bask in the sun or float among green duckweed, along with catfish ponds and a few other animals. In front of some pens, signs tell the stories and origins of the big crocodiles. Daily crocodile shows run around midday and in the afternoon, when handlers step into the pen with the crocodiles, with extra shows on Sundays and holidays. An adult ticket costs about twelve ringgit, and it opens daily from half past eight to half past five. It lies on the same Labuk road that leads to the Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre, so you can stop on the way back from Sepilok.
