A former steelworks in Shijingshan, western Beijing, whose furnaces stopped in January 2011; the site became a park completed in 2020, where blast furnaces, cooling towers and industrial halls now serve as exhibition spaces, offices and event venues. Its landmark is Big Air Shougang, the world's first permanent big air venue, built beside the cooling towers for the freestyle skiing and snowboarding events of the 2022 Winter Olympics, along with the No. 3 Blast Furnace, restored as an exhibition and event space. Since 2021 the China International Fair for Trade in Services has been held here every September. Entry to the park is free with an advance booking through its official mini-programme, while the big air ramp can be seen and photographed from outside only, per visitor guides.
