Siargao's most popular trip: a day on a traditional boat between three small islands off General Luna, each with its own character. The water around them is shallow and clear, in shades of turquoise that change over the reef, and the wooden outrigger boats hop between them in minutes. Guyam is a small round island of white sand crowned with coconut palms; you can walk around it in minutes, and its picture from the sea is one of the best-known in the Philippines. «Naked Island» is a strip of white sand without a single tree, rising in the middle of the sea, with some of the clearest water around Siargao. Daku is the largest of the three, with a fishing village, a long beach and huts where lunch is cooked from fresh fish. The tour usually includes swimming, snorkelling and lunch on Daku. You can join a shared boat or hire a private one for your group. There is no shade on Naked Island, so bring sunscreen and a hat. The sea is calmer in the morning, so set off early.
