A large limestone cave about 18 km from Yangshuo that runs through twelve karst hills, named for its crystalline stalactites and stalagmites that shine like silver under the lights. The cave has three levels and more than ten scenes, the best known being «Snow Mountain and Waterfall», the «Music Stone Screen» and «Jade Pool Wonderland», whose still water mirrors the rock formations. A popular Chinese saying holds that «anyone who has been to Silver Cave will never be short of money», which draws many Chinese visitors, and it's one of the best-known caves around Yangshuo. Tickets are about CNY 65, with children under 1.4 m free, open 08:30–17:30, per visitor guides. The tour takes about an hour on paths and steps, and it's mild and humid inside.
