An open-air museum in the village of Sirogojno on Mount Zlatibor, covering about five hectares, which recreates two traditional farmsteads from log houses gathered across the Zlatibor region, dating from the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Work on it began in 1979. It includes the main house, sleeping quarters, a bakery, a dairy, a barn, a fruit drier and a shepherd's hut, with tall steep wooden roofs and woven fences, along with craft workshops, an exhibition hall and a gift shop. The village was declared a cultural monument of exceptional importance in 1983, and it is also known for its knitters, who made unique woollen clothing and have their own museum in the village. Tickets are bought at the entrance for a few hundred dinars, per visitor guides, and the visit combines easily with nearby Stopića Cave in one day. Summer and autumn are the best times.
