A shopping centre and yacht marina on Penang Island's north coast, opened in 2010 on reclaimed land at Tanjung Tokong, between Gurney Drive and the floating mosque. Its white buildings with red roofs in a Mediterranean style wrap around a marina of yachts and small boats, and a long waterside promenade runs along it, lined with cafés and restaurants looking out to sea and the Strait of Malacca, watched over by a small lighthouse-like tower. Inside are about a hundred shops, mostly cafés, restaurants, décor and gifts, including a Malaysian pewter store and the Penang Performing Arts Centre. A small market runs at weekends. Entry is free. It is a calm spot for an evening stroll and dinner by the water, and the sunset from the promenade is lovely. Pair it with the nearby floating mosque and Gurney Drive in one evening.

It is more a place for a stroll and a quiet dinner by the sea than a big shopping centre, so it suits an evening if you are on the north coast.
