Granite boulders
On a rocky headland.
A beach on a rocky headland near Sungailiat in north Bangka, scattered with huge smooth granite boulders on white sand and in the blue sea, like Bangka and Belitung's best-known beaches, overlooking a calm bay. The headland has a resort, paths between the rocks and viewpoints, and visitors come for photos, to sit on the rocks, watch sunrise over the sea and swim in the calm parts. There are seafood restaurants on the beach. Entry is a small fee of about ten thousand rupiah. The water is mostly calm, and early morning is loveliest. The beach is close to Parai Tenggiri Beach and Puri Tri Agung temple, so combine them on one tour of the island's north, about an hour from Pangkal Pinang.
