With children: Galaxy. Without children and for calm: The Palm. For saunas and total relaxation: Elysium (18+). A higher-zone ticket includes the lower ones.
Swimwear in all zones; in the European-style saunas some areas are textile-free, so ask at the entrance about Elysium's rules if that matters to you.

Europe's largest thermal and leisure resort: Therme Bucharest on the capital's northern edge is a giant glass dome over 30,000 square metres of thermal water at 33 degrees all year — half a million tropical plants and eight hundred palms under glass, so winter stays outside and summer inside, always. Three zones on three tickets: Galaxy for families with sixteen water slides, a wave pool and a lazy river; the calm adults' Palm with thermal pools, swim-up bars among the palms and a heated outdoor terrace; and Elysium with thermal saunas, mineral baths and relaxation rooms. The separation keeps families and peace-seekers happy at once. It lies 20 km from the centre, with a free shuttle hourly from University Square, or half an hour by taxi. Best on a weekday rather than the weekend, and after nine at night is the quietest and cheapest time.
