Vietnam's largest safari park, in the north of Phu Quoc, opened by Vingroup in December 2015. Its 380-hectare first phase is split between an open zoo, where more than 90 species live in spacious enclosures, and a safari zone that visitors cross by bus among animals roaming without cages. The park holds some 4,000 animals of about 200 species, among them Asian elephants, orangutans, chimpanzees, hippos, giraffes, white rhinos and Arabian oryx, with feeding sessions and animal shows during the day, and it is one of the island's most popular family outings. Allow at least half a day and come at opening, when the animals are most active and the heat is milder. The park sits next to the VinWonders theme park and the Grand World entertainment district, about 30 km north of Duong Dong.
