A large theme park on Hon Tre island, off Nha Trang, run by Vingroup's VinWonders brand. It combines rides and roller coasters, a water park with slides and wave pools, an aquarium with a walk-through tunnel, gardens and nightly shows, and is one of the most popular family days out in southern Vietnam. The island is reached by speedboat in seven to ten minutes, included in the ticket. The cable car that used to carry visitors across the bay is temporarily suspended. A full-day ticket covers the boat, the rides and the shows, and a cheaper ticket after 16:00 suits an evening visit. Plan a full day with children, bring swimwear for the water park, and check opening hours and the boat schedule before you go.
